# Linear

Create a release issue and close shipped tickets. Open the **Linear** card on the Integrations page to connect.

## Release issues

`--team` is the team's ID, key or name; Bumpkit checks the key and finds the team. On every release recorded by `POST /v1/analyze`, Bumpkit creates a `Release v<version>` issue in that team with the changelog, then links, completes and comments on every Linear issue referenced in the commit messages or the branch name. `bumpkit integrations test linear` creates a test issue you can delete.

The `integrations_connect`, `integrations_linear_teams` and `integrations_test` MCP tools do the same.
