# GitLab

Gate merge requests and pipelines. Open the **GitLab** card on the Integrations page to request early access or connect.

## Gate merge requests

Connect a project with an access token, and Bumpkit receives a signed webhook, runs the gate and reports a status and a comment. Or [run `bumpkit gate` in GitLab CI](/docs/release-gate#run-it-in-gitlab-ci).
